History
Jeunesse 360 is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1999 to address the riots that were occurring in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges RCM on the National Holiday. At that time, the organization worked to prevent juvenile delinquency. In order to solve problems related to youth gangs and street gangs, it established several local committees in the cities of the RCM. An agreement between the youth, the Quebec Provincial Police and Jeunesse 360 led to the organization of a festival. Since then, we’ve carried out numerous projects in order to improve adolescent living conditions in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges area.
Mission
Jeunesse 360 has implemented a number of activities and services in pursuit of its mission, which is to support the development of youth through outreach programs and by creating an atmosphere of trust in order to prevent juvenile delinquency, while stimulating the development of young people’s creativity and self-expression by creating positive activities for youth.
The organization also works in concert with youth organizations, municipalities, public safety officials and schools to find ways to meet the needs and address the problems of youths through a variety of workshops.
