Our job offers

Have you been dreaming about spending the summer outdoors, working with a team? Now’s your chance!

Bike patroller

Working in teams of two, bike patrollers travel through the municipalities of the Vaudreuil-Soulanges RCM raising awareness of municipal regulations among those who use our parks and bicycle lanes. They also accompany groups of youths from day camps and schools on cycling trips. They work in collaboration with the Quebec Provincial Police (Sûreté du Québec).

Requirements

  • Good physical condition
  • Studies in police procedures or other relevant experience
  • Studies or experience in the social sphere (a plus)
  • Bilingual abilities (a plus)
  • Sense of responsibility and loyalty
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Availability during weekdays and weekends

Conditions (to be confirmed)

  • Duration: 13 weeks, from May to August 
  • Number of hours: 32 hours per week, over 4 days (Tuesday to Friday)
  • Schedule: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM (except for day camps and other daytime events)

  • Salary: Starting at $18.00/hour, depending on experience and education.

CJLP Projet X

Animateur pour adolescents

The activity leader’s primary role is to host activities for the teenagers who are present in our parks. By offering healthy alternatives, the activity leader will help reinforce certain interests. Examples of proposed activities include sports, outdoor activities, art, special guests and more.

Requirements

  • Studies in a social field (a plus)
  • Experience as an activity leader (a plus)
  • Enthusiasm, maturity, creativity and motivation
  • Social and interpersonal skills
  • Availability during evenings and weekends
  • Willingness to work with adolescents
  • Bilingual abilities (a plus)

Conditions (to be confirmed)

  • Duration: 13 weeks, from May to August
  • Number of hours: 30 to 35 hours per week, over 4 to 5 days
  • Schedule: 4:00 PM to 11:30 PM

  • Salary: Starting at $18.00/hour, depending on experience.
